Fitness Assessment
A fitness assessment or evaluation is a series of diagnostic tests, conducted by certified and experienced staff, that determines an individual’s present physical state of being.
Fitness assessment is a service provided to both adult and youth members and is an effective format to establish an individual’s current level of fitness and knowledge to determine the most appropriate plan to meeting specific goals.

Carmela Perri has more than 12 years of experience working in the fitness industry and has earned a reputation across the city for her creative step classes. Over the past several of years she has been in high demand as a mentor, a master class presenter, group exercise instructor and personal trainer. In 2004, Carmela was awarded the Group Exercise Instructor of the Year for the Sports Clubs of Canada.
Carmela has demonstrated her leadership skills over the past several years as a Fitness Manager for two of Sports Clubs of Canada locations and now here at the Richmond Hill Country Club.
She has earned her FIS and PTS from Can Fit Pro and is an ACE certified personal trainer. Over the past two years she has spent countless hours training under the highly respected Body Harmonics (Pilates) cofounder Margot McKinnon. As well she is a Medical Exercise Specialist, helping to ìbridge the gap between health care and fitness.î Over the years she has taken several courses on Exercise prescription for Health and Fitness and has recently assumed the role of Fitness and Sports Conditioning Coordinator at the Richmond Hill Country Club.
